Points to keep in mind when translating English contracts into Japanese
I am sure that your company often translates English contracts into Japanese. Recently, Google Translate and software specialized for translation of contracts are available, so even those who are not confident in English can easily translate.
However, there are many cases where the meaning of the Japanese translated by translation software is not understood, or the content differs from the original meaning because the Japanese is not accurate.
In such cases, the misunderstanding of the contractual content could result in serious damages.
Therefore, it is necessary for the person in charge to check the Japanese translation created by the translation software and correct it to the correct content.
By making slight modifications to the Japanese translation created by the translation software, the translator can make the translated text more accurate and easier to understand. In this seminar, we would like to explain what points to keep in mind and how to correct them when creating a Japanese translation of an English contract.
The lecturers, who have prepared Japanese translations of many English contracts, will disclose the know-how they have accumulated in translation practice based on their own experiences.
This seminar will be useful for everyone involved in contract translation work, so please join us.
There is no charge for this seminar. The seminar will be held online, so you can participate from your office or home. If you are interested, please register for the seminar.
